   Though we only had a few minutes to walk near dusk on Sunday night,
11- 2-03  Jimi and I observed a male HOODED MERGANSER at Cove Lake State
Park, Campbell County, TN  This denotes my earliest fall record in 4
years for a Hooded at Cove Lake.

    There were 11 Gadwall also present, as well as several American Coot
and 
a Green-Heron flew by. A WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW was also present
in a large brush pile.
