FreeLists / tn-bird / [TN-Bird] Calliope Hummingbird in Blount County

I am sorry to report that Chris Sloan was unable to catch the Calliope
Hummingbird yesterday.  The bird is already banded, and must remember the
trap.  He approached several times, but would not enter the trap.  If the
bird stays around Chris will try again later.

The family where the bird has been staying has said that they will allow
folks to come see the bird if it hangs around.  They are going to give me a
schedule when visitation will be allowed.  I have not heard from them today,
but expect to hear soon.  I will pass the schedule to you as soon as I have
it.
