     On Oct 31 at 3:00 pm , Jimi and I found a MOURNING WARBLER on the
back trail at Cove Lake State Park in Caryville, TN.
The  bird was feeding in the privet hedges/thickets in a low swampy area
along a ditch.
We obtained good looks from about 10-15 ft. away .The bird still had a
nice light colored grey hood-with yellow underparts and narrow continuing
eye ring.
This is the first fall Mourning Warbler and latest date I have observed
one at Cove Lake.

  We returned on 11-1 am to see if the bird was still present, but did
not find it.
We did see several Brown Creepers and RUSTY BLACKBIRDS  (11) today.
