Musick's Campground, South Holston Lake, Sullivan Co., TN
D. Holt
Just after 7 pm Sunday, Dianne Draper and I observed an adult non-breeding
Red-throated Loon flying over the main channel of the lake nearest Musick's
Campground, going down the lake and around the bend toward Painter Creek. Its
small size, white face and throat, and lowered head position were distinctive.
