[TN-Bird] FOS Yellow-rumped Warblers and Much More

We were both glad and sad to see our first fall Yellow-rumped Warblers this
morning and they fed in the yard trees all day. We love warblers and know when
these late comers appear the warbler migration is coming to an end. We also
had Tennessee (several stayed all day) , Magnolia, Yellow-throated,
Bay-breasted, Black & White, and an Overbird this morning and a single
Ruby-crowned Kinglet. A Broad-winged Hawk, Meadowlarks, and three Catbirds
were obvious migrants during the morning hours. A second White-throated
Sparrow joined the one that appeared last Friday and he seemed happy to have
company as they ate together. The delightful Red-breasted Nuthatch that
appeared yesterday remained today and continues to eat as I am posting. And
about a dozen Ruby-throated Hummingbirds persist at the feeders. What a great
time of year for birding.
