[TN-Bird] Scissor-tailed Flycatcher in Gibson County

Yesterday evening (Sunday, October 1st) about 4:30 pm I encountered a
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher at the jct. of Hwy. 104 & Hwy. 467 (about 2 miles due
west of Trenton) in Gibson County. I did not have my binoculars with me as I
was driving my grandmother's car but the bird appeared to be a female type as
the tail was not extremely long and the sides were pale pink. The bird was
flycatching from a guy wire near a utility pole right next to the highway.
Also on Thursday, September 28 I had a Bald Eagle at the south end of Gibson
County Lake on Concord Cades Rd. east of Trenton. The bird was probably a 4th
year bird as the head was not quite completely white and it had a few light
feathers on the back.
Good birding!
