FreeLists / tn-bird / [TN-Bird] Black-necked Stilt in Blount County

Fellow Birders:
Jim Human called me to report that the stilt is still at the farm pond at 
Phelps Dairy Farm where he first discovered it  two weeks ago.  

From US 129 in Maryville/Alcoa turn right on to Louisville Rd (at the 
Wal-Mart). Go 9.2 miles and turn right on Ralph Phelps Rd. just past 
Big Al's Marathon Gas Station.  Go 1.8 miles through Phelps Dairy 
to the stop sign. At  the stop turn right.  There is a sign with an arrow 
to Poland Creek.   The pond is about 1/2 mile from the stop sign on 
the right.
