I haven't had a hummer since October 2 when a fat and sassy female r-t  
stopped in and gorged herself on sugar water here at my home in Charlotte Park, 
West Nashville (Davidson Co.) just a few blocks east of Cleece's Ferry Boat 
Ramp 
on the Cumberland River.
I DID have a flock of nine chimney swifts fluttering around feeding over my 
deck and carrying on their chattery conversations this past Sunday which seems 
sort of later to me.  They must have been migrants as I had not seen any of 
"my local tribe" for a week when it got down to two..............and, then, 
there were none.........until Sunday.
