My hummingbird numbers have drizzled down to just a few daily sightings.
Most of the summer I had at least one hundred individuals daily. Have never
had such hoards of hummingbirds. Reminiscent of the numbers at Beatty's Miller
Canyon private viewing area. With added feeders (9) and more shrubs/bushes,
etc. for them I feel really blessed to have so many.
Before I left last Tuesday morning for Arizona I was seeing about 35 to 50
individuals daily. Returned on the week-end to just a few little ones.
