Jean Alexander just called (8:15 am) to report that Saturday morning Jim Human 
found a BLACK_NECKED STILT in Blount County at Phelps Dairy.  The bird is still 
there.

DIRECTIONS:

From US 129 in Maryville/Alcoa turn right on to Louisville Rd (at the 
Walmart).  Go 9.2 miles and turn right just past the Big Al's gas satation on 
to Ralph Phelps Rd.  Go 1.8 miles through Phelps Dairy to the stop sign.  At 
the stop turn right onto Poland Circle.  The pond is about 1/2 mile from the 
stop sign on the right.  Jean suggested parking at the old house at the stop 
sign and walking down.  She found the Stilt in the back left corner of the pond.
