Britton Ford Unit of TNWR (Elkhorn, or Sulphur Wells Unit according to the
refuge sign)

I just received word from Jeff that Terry Witt has found a juvenile Curlew
Sandpiper at Britton Ford in Henry Co today. The bird is flying around a
lot, but has been seen out near the sandy point, from the south road around
the refuge. This road is closed during the winter season, and if you enter
the refuge from the south access, you would take a right and follow this
road to the point, as opposed to taking a left to go the overlook and the
rest of the refuge. I hope to get there this afternoon. I am at work, and
can't post anymore specific directions at this time. Good luck to any that
try for this great bird!

Good birding!!
