I had pine warblers eating suet frequently, but never saw them eating
sunflower seeds...but mine were in the shell.
I thought all hummers were gone last week, but day before yesterday a
couple showed up and were still with me as of this morning...at leat I
assume it is the same two. I have tons of jewelweed and even cardinal
flower still blooming in the bottoms just past the house, so I would think
this would be a favorite route of migrating hummers.
This is in the very northern tip of Chester County along a tributary of the
South Forked Deer River.. between Beech Bluff and Luray..
