The Wilson's Warblers are finally showing up in good numbers.  One male (and
possible another) was seen at Standifer Gap Marsh on the morning of October
2 (Carol Fegarido) and one was seen at the same location in the afternoon
(thanks Carol! Kevin Calhoon).
Three were seen at Dennis Harris's residence in Hamilton co. on October 3!

A Lincoln's Sparrow was seen at Standifer Gap Marsh on October 1 (Carol
Fegarido)

A Golden-winged Warbler was the best bird of the day on the TOS field trip
to Audubon Acres on September 29. (David Aborn)

Some highlights from the Soddy Mountain Hawkwatch:

September 23 - Second Mississippi Kite of the season!
September 27 - Three Peregrine Falcon day.
As of September 28: 2905 Broad-winged Hawks; 8 Bald Eagles; 1 Merlin; 7
Peregrines; 2 Mississippi Kites.

The next general meeting of the Chattanooga TOS will be on October 9
7:00 PM at the Accension Luthern Church, 720 South Germantown Rd.
