[tn-bird] 6 Woodpecker Species Morning

Decided to hike the North Boundary Trail on the Oak Ridge
Reservation this morning.
While birding in general is a little slow this time of year,
woodpeckers are certainly not in short supply in this forest. In one
hour (2 miles), I had 6 of the 7 possible species, 26 birds total. Kept
hoping for a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker to complete the sweep, but no
luck. Still, as a woodpecker lover, I'll take 6. Here's the talley:
RED-HEADED WP (1 adult flying across large power line)
Red-bellied WP (7)
Downy (5)
Hairy (4)
Flicker (3)
Pileated (4)
Also, Common Yellowthroat (1 ad male) and Red-eyed Vireo (1) still
hanging around.
Yesterday, there were 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, 1 Tenn. Warbler, and 1
Scarlet Tanager. Migration's not quite over yet!
