[TN-Bird] Peregrine falcon; hungry mockingbird; hummers

When I came into my dining room, in the Charlotte Park section of West
Nashville, a few moments ago, my movement was noticed by a gorgeous peregrine
falcon that was perched on my deck rail. It fled quickly, so I wasn't able to
grab my camera and record the moment for posterity. I suspect it was one of
the downtown peregrines that came to check out "Dee's Smorgabird" for a nice
mourning dove or something. I guess it COULD have been a passing migrant that
saw birds and squirrels on the deck and came down for a closer look. I've
had quite a few sightings here over the past 16 years, but this is the first
I've noticed recently.

Earlier this morning, one of my mockingbirds was raising a ruckus because it
wanted its peanut butter. I put some out and let it "have at it."

Also, I'm having a nice hummingbird season with many hummers sucking up that
sugar water.
