Sightings Report, Late Entry 4,5,6 Sept Ensley Bottoms area, Memphis, Shelby
County
Sorrry for late reporting.

 

Riverport Rd Ponds and Sloughs: Water drying up rapidly everywhere therefore
any/all fish are vulnerable to the waders, 150-250 Great Egrets have been
seen each day along with a couple of Wood Storks. Lots of Mallards. New mud
flats are holding some shorebirds mostly L. Sandpipers and Killdear. Adult
Little Blue Heron seen occasionally.

 

TVA Lakes: DC Cormorants, Mallards and RB Gulls settling in for a while.
Caspian Terns, Foresters Terns and Egrets coming and going.
