[TN-Bird] Lewis County: Olive-sided Flycatcher, other migrants

There's an Olive-sided Flycatcher in my front yard this morning (9
Sep 2006). I was first alerted to it by its "pip" note, then saw it
quite well flycatching from the Silver Maple tree over the mailbox.
We'll be busy today, but any locals interested in looking for it can
just drop by and give it a try in our absence. McCord Hollow Road, 1
mile north of Woodland Rd (formerly Old Linden), 5 miles west of
Hohenwald, the old Fain/McCord house (unmistakable 19th century farm
house in mid-restoration job on right at bottom of the hill). Be
advised there are multiple Pewees in the yard as well!
Otherwise, this last week has finally seen the passerine migration
chugging along. Some species from Sep. 3-9, all from our property
here. Some of these nest locally, but were scarce or absent during
late summer and have recently reappeared:
Blue-winged Teal (Sep. 9)
Blue-headed Vireo (Sep. 4)
Warbling Vireo (Sep. 4, singing)
Blue-winged Warbler (Sep. 4)
Nashville Warbler (Sep. 8)
Northern Parula (Sep. 8,9)
Chestnut-sided Warbler (Sep. 4)
Magnolia Warbler (Sep. 4,5,9)
Blackburnian Warbler (Sep. 6)
Prairie Warbler (Sep. 4)
Yellow-throated Warbler (Sep. 5,8)
Bay-breasted Warbler (Sep. 6,9)
Black-and-white Warbler (Sep. 6,8,9)
American Redstart (Sep. 4,8,9)
Hooded Warbler (Sep. 8,9)
Baltimore Oriole (Sep. 6,8,9)
Plus trees full of tanagers and Red-eyed Vireos. Still waiting for
the first Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
