[TN-Bird] Abundance Checklist

I notice that in the TOS website's "Official Checklist of the Birds of
Tennessee" as of November 4, 1999, that the categories used for frequency are
the
following:
Regular, Casual, Accidental, Extirpated and Extinct
In John C. Robinson's "An Annotated Checklist of the Birds of Tennessee" he
uses three different categories: Status, Abundance and Seasonal occurrence.
These three categories are broken down into still smaller categories.
For example I have gleaned the following from his book for the categories
(statewide occurrence only):
Status: Regular
Abundance: Common
Seasonal occurrence: Permanent Resident
These are the species fitting this criteria according to John's book:
Killdeer, Rock Dove, Mourning Dove, Downy Woodpecker, Blue Jay, American
Crow, Carolina Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Wren, American Robin,
Northern
Mockingbird, European Starling, Eastern Towhee, Field Sparrow, Northern
Cardinal, Red-winged Blackbird, Eastern Meadowlark, Common Grackle,
Brown-headed
Cowbird, American Goldfinch, and House Sparrow
Is there an updated breakdown of TN birds similar to the categories used in
John's book somewhere online including seasonal occurrence or does everyone
basically just go by his book?
It seems like some species might warrant a higher category of occurrence -
for instance House Finch - than what John had for them in 1990.
According to the liner notes it says that (as of 1990) he "is now a wildlife
biologist for the USDA Forest Service in Hayward, Wisconsin."
Coincidentally, my grandparents used to own a resort on a lake near Hayward,
Wisconsin. We used to go up there in the summer alot when we were kids. Very
fond memories of that time and place.
