[TN-Bird] Nickajack Lake

Janice Chadwell and I checked Nickajack Lake (Marion Cou.) this morning for
any hurricane related birds but didn't find too much. We had about 20 terns
with the majority being Common and a couple of Forster's. There were about a
dozen shorebirds sitting on milfoil in the lake but the light was so bad we
could not postively ID anything other than yellowlegs. There were about 30
Blue-winged Teal, 20 Pied-billed Grebes and 10 D-C Cormorants on the lake also.
We
also had 1 Bald Eagle and 1 Osprey.
