TN-Birders:
TN-Birs is a FREE, 24-hours, 7-days per week service provided for the reporting 
of bird activites relative to Tennessee.  It has provided nearly 30,000 
messages since coverage was first begun in 1995.   The daily maintenance and 
coordination of suscription services and problem shooting has been donated 
without one cent of cost to any subscriber for nine years.

All that is requested of subscribers is to state the specific location, 
including COUNTY, for all sightings.   Please sign EVERY message with your 
FIRST and LAST  name and the CITY OR TOWN, INCLUDING STATE, of your home 
mailing address.

To do anything else lacks consideration for the hundreds of birders who 
subscribe to Tennessee birders and the 95 % of the postings which are dedicated 
to following our style and making the network useful and enjoyable for others.  
It is not too much to ask of the other 5 % of you who simply fail to help us 
run the very best state bird list I know of.  

This message is being sent because a small number of uncooperative subscribers 
have been regularly ignoring these simple requests.  It is not a situation we 
would like to have continue to grow.

If you need help in developing a working method for complying, it is strongly 
suggested that you adopt the style and tradition establised and long used by 
Jeff "OLCOOT" Wilson.  Many birders across the state use this simple approach 
to providing locations.
