We have had two different E Wood PeeWees flycatching, using a trellis and a 
bush as "watch for the gnats, etc" post" in our summer flower garden for the 
past couple of weeks. We had white-eyed vireo calling this past Monday on our 
road. The summer tanagers are still with us & kingbirds were sighted as late as 
yesterday in Bedford Co & sat in Wilson Co. In Hamilton Co, we saw a few, also 
on Monday. I realize kingbirds can be with us much later but some years they 
seem to disappear rather suddenly before the cool spells hit. Hummingbirds have 
slowed down in numbers. A male Blue Grosbeak was near Haley (Bedford Co) was 
sighted last Tues (Aug 24)  Otherwise, bird news is rather slow, for me as I go 
here & there in Bedford Co.
