[TN-Bird] Standifer Gap Marsh, Virginia Rail, Osprey

Standifer Gap Marsh, Chattanooga, Hamilton County
Virginia Rails, 2 - 4, in several locations at the north end, about 10 AM
September 10 and 12.
These two short visits are my first in over two months. I feel confident the
Virginia Rails are year-round residents in the marsh.
Osprey, September 12, feeding in large dead tree in middle of water.
The water in the marsh is low, covered with green, the vegetation is thick and
truning brown. It appears that it may begin silting up and shrinking.
