[TN-Bird] wood storks on the interstate

This morning, while hurrying to Holly Springs, MS, for the Strawberry Plains
Audubon Center's Hummingbird Festival, I noted about 30 wood storks flying
across I-240 where the Thomas Street connector joins up, near the Chicago Park
section of north Memphis. The birds were flying along the Wolf River, from
west
to east, accompanied by a few great egrets. I noted a few waders in trees
along the Wolf while dodging 18-wheelers driven by what were obviously escapees
from some Yankee lunatic asylum.
