[TN-Bird] Hummingbird nest update: 2 nestlings!

I had given up hope of anything happening with the 'active' Ruby-throated
Hummingbird nest that I had found in my yard a few weeks ago. When I first
found it, the female was very faithful in sitting on her eggs. Then a few
weeks into watching her, she would hardly ever be seen even close to the nest
and I had only seen her once actually on it. I'd check on her almost everyday
and no sign. I had chaulked it up to a nest failure.
BUT, this morning I thought I'd give it another look. It appeared that
something was in the nest, maybe it was a leaf that had fallen from the tree
and landed into the nest. NOPE! 2 nestlings clearly visible and quite active
within the nest. Momma was seen once at the nest in the hours that I was out
by the nest, although not actively monitoring it (I had work to do...). I have
no idea of when they hatched.
I will keep everyone posted on how things progress from here!
