The Nashville Chapter of TOS will be holding an
overnight field trip to Memphis on August 19/20th.

We will be leaving from the Bellevue Park-n-Ride at
1:00 pm on Saturday.  We will travel to
Memphis, check-in to our hotel (details below), have a
quick dinner, then head out to the Ensley Bottoms/Pits
area for some evening shorebirding. August is a time
of great variety of Shorebirds, so we should have a
good showing. 

After over-nighting at the hotel, we will leave again
EARLY in the morning for another round of shorebirding
at the pits, and then cruise by some of the
Mississippi River sand bars, before heading back to
Nashville.

We will be staying at the Memphis Plaza Hotel (site of
the Spring 2005 TOS meeting).  Rooms are at $54.99 for
double or king.  Please call 1-866-566-4618 ASAP to
reserve your room, and be sure to mention you are with
TOS.  Please let me know after a room is reserved.
