[TN-Bird] Where do you go to watch birds?

I've been asking people "What's you're *normal* birding spot?" and have been
getting places that are not recorded anywhere.
"There is an empty lot near my house"
"The ditch in front of where I work"
"There is a little stream just off the road near ......"
etc. etc.

Good example is this, I have been seeing YC night herons, green herons, red
shoulders, kingfishers and others in a 1/2 acre area between hwy 153 and Olan
mills executive offices. (Chattanooga, 37421)

The object of this is to compile a list, by area and post it somewhere (and to
gain future field trip information, for me and the other leaders)
Your spot may be just down the street from several of your birding friends that
don't know ths spot exists...

So lets have your favorite birding spot (the one you go to when you've only a
couple of free hours but want to go birding anyway)

I'll need the place (make up a name if there isn't a logical one) , and of
course where it is.
Map grid (tell me what book) GPS coordinates, Directions from a known place.
(like a Wal-Mart, highway exit, etc.)
And how accessible it is, like do you have to climb over barbed wire? is wading
involved? can you bird it from a road? etc.

Post the information to TN-Bird if you want, send me an email if you want,
post it on www.countrybirding.com in the birding by location section. (if you
want to stay anonymous)

all that really matters is that I get the information to compile.

Thanks for reading this far....
