[TN-Bird] Now, it's the adult Cooper's.....+ Pale Male news....

From Charlotte Park, West Nashville, Davidson County; just now, an adult
Cooper's hawk came in to show "Immy" how to make a catch. I was busy, heard
the
ruckus in front of me as the adult bird slam dunked a mourning dove right up
against the gutter of the house just above the French doors leaving a flood of
mourning dove feathers all over the place just outside on the deck. I saw the
bird, with prey, in the dead ash tree before it flew off. I don't know if
"Immy" was around to watch the lesson, but it was dramatic and too fast to even
grab the camera, much less to photo!
Did anyone else hear the blurb on NBC news that "Pale Male" has grandchicks,
and "they were determined to be brother and sister after they were seen biting
each others' tails?" Apparently, the grandchicks are in a nest in Central
Park while Pale Male still holds Lordship over the apartment on Fifth Avenue.
