[TN-Bird] new wetland in Knoxville

There is a pond next to some apartments at the busy intersection of Deane
Hill Drive and Morrell Road in west Knoxville. It is very shallow now due
to overgrowth of some kind of algae (?) or water plant (looks to me like
evergreen shrubs beneath the water... you can tell I'm no botanist).
I've never noticed any birds in the pond when I've driven by until
yesterday, Sunday afternoon around 3:15. Thought I saw a green herson, so
turned around and went back to investigate. I found not one, but 7 green
herons either standing around in the pond or on or under the railing that
surrounds it. Also, 2 belted kingfishers.
