Took off for a couple of hours yesterday to check the wetland areas in NWLake 
co.  Lake # 9 has fair habitat, birds are at the edge of the grass.  Lots of 
Killdeer and a few Least Sp.  Lots of Egrets and Little Blue Herons and some 
Mallard Ducks. The Ibis hole at Phillipy held a fair amount of Great Egrets and 
a few Snowy.  the water in Phillipy that runs along the levee road had a few 
Pectoral SP and Least SP.  The best spot was at the Black Bayou Handicapped 
hunting area off of 78 South of Black Bayou Refuge.  I had 5 species of shore 
birds.  About 50 birds total. Species included Pectoral SP,LEast SP, Lessor 
Yellowlegs, 1- Solitary SP, and 1 Sanderling was running around . I actually 
had  6 species of shore birds;  lots of Killdeer.  Black Bayou Refuge has lots 
of wading birds and no shorebirds seen yesterday.
