Hello TN-birders,
The reason I posed my original question about this book is because I only
took a really quick look at it after the gentleman in the shop where I buy bird
seed said he had sold a lot of them "because Tennessee birders have been really
hungry for a book on Tennessee birds." I put it back on the stand and
probably insulted his "intelligence" by remarking that "It looks alike a
cut-and-paste job to me." Also, the book is literally "pasted together" in
such a way
that it wouldn't survive a day of hard birding in the field. From Jeff
Wilson's
reply to TN-Birds and several off-line replies from others who have seen the
book, it appears that my comment may have been on the mark although my
terseness just might prevent me from being allowed in that store again!
