Greetings from the Charlotte Park area of West Nashville just a little east 
of the old Cleece's Ferry landing.
As one who NEVER has any hummingbirds during the time they are nesting, I am 
always thrilled to see one, then a trickle of more, as they start moving 
around again.  Last year, a gorgeous male flashed his flaming throat at me on 
the 
morning of my 69th birthday on July 20th, 2003.  This morning, a female showed 
up at my feeder as my seventh decade of life comes to its end ready to begin 
the eight decade tomorrow when I will celebrate my 70th birthday!  Naturally, I 
was ecstatic to see this little jewel and hope she and others will return 
tomorrow to help me "celebrate" my birthday AND the 35th anniversary of the 
Moon 
Landing.
