Hi folks,

Great Smoky Mountains National Park - mostly North Carolina side.

This is just outside Tennessee, but I'm reporting because I believe
this would be a first breeding record this far south.

You may recall that a North Carolina birder reported a Yellow-rumped
Warbler along the Clingman's Dome paved trail this week.  I went up
today (Friday) and look for 2 hours, but I did not find the bird.

Species I did find:

Great Blue Herons - flying WAY up over the top of Andrews Bald.
Red-tailed Hawk
Broad-winged Hawk
Turkey Vulture
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Chimney Swift
Downy Woodpecker
Acadian Flycatcher
American Crow
Blue Jay
Black-capped Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Winter Wren
Carolina Wren
Golden-crowned Kinglet
American Robin
Veery
Gray Catbird
Cedar Waxwing
Red-eyed Vireo
Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Canada Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Indigo Bunting
Northern Cardinal
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Dark-eyed Junco
Song Sparrow
Eastern Towhee
American Goldfinch
