[tn-bird] Strange actions of a tanager

The suet cage in our yard hangs from a clothesline strung between an apple
tree and the deck rail. It is kept charged with Martha Sargent's
super-surefire peanut butter and lard mixture. the last two days I have
observed a female summer tanager fly to the cage, hover underneath it like a
hummingbird and pick off pieces of the suet cake. It then flies to the apple
tree to rest, then returns for more suet-picking.
