[TN-Bird] Re: Chattanooga TOS - monthly meeting, June 14

TN-Birders:
I have not been asked by David Vogt to assist with whatever trouble he has
experienced
in posting to TN-Birds. David and I exchanged e-mails in March and April
of this year but he made no mention of any problems. On Fri, 18 May 2007,
Stephen Stedman
posted to this list that the e-mail address for David had been returned to
Steve as
undeliverable. Dave successfully posted to this list in Feb 2007.
Michael Bierly's e-mail indicates he was responding to David at
dfvogt@xxxxxxxxxxx
David's e-mail address of dfvogt@xxxxxxxxxxx is not an address with which he
is subscribed
to TN-Birds net. So, if he was attempting to post with that address, that
would explain
why he could not post. You must be subscribed with the address you are
mailing
from.
David is subscribed under dfv@xxxxxxxxxx but has that address was set to
"vacation" status so he
cannot receive TN-Birds messages under that address. He could post.
Summary of e-mail address subscribed to TN-Birds net for Dave:
dfv@xxxxxxxxxx was in vacation status meaning no mail received but ability
to post
dfv@xxxxxxxxxx was available for posting and mail being delivered at that
address
dfvogt@xxxxxxxxxxx was available for posting and mail being delivered at
that address
dfvogt@xxxxxxxxxxx was not subscribed. I have just subscribed him at this
address.
I have now subscribed him to the additional address dfvogt@xxxxxxxxxxx and
set
all options for all addresses in full activation mode. If this is not
acceptable to you
David, please go online and reset all of your subscription to whatever
options you
desire or e-mail me the choices you would like and I will gladly assist you.
With 523 subscribers to the list, I cannot always assure no one will have
any
difficulties but I do pledge to work with each of you to assure that this
free service
provided by the Tennessee Ornithological Society.
Let's go birding.....
