[TN-Bird] Turkey Creek Willow Flycatcher

Between thunder storms Sunday I did some birding at the Turkey Creek Wetland
in west Knox County and was rewarded by a singing Willow Flycatcher
fitz-bewing among the willows just west of the creek that runs behind
Shoney's. I was determined to see the singer and managed to get two looks
at it. The first time it was partially obscured by foliage but its two
white wingbars were evident. The second time it was perched on a dead tree,
facing me but left when a Common Grackle landed beside it.

Some other good birds included a female Orchard Oriole in the meadow, 2 or 3
Brown Thrashers, a Gray Catbird and a few Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers. There are
two new signs identifying the Turkey Creek Wetland and Greenway Trail (or
some such label) and a bench overlooking the creek near the chip trail. The
place is really looking good - lots of flowers and butterflies too.
