Today 5/9/06 I went with Morris Williams to Elora Lincoln County, Tennessee
to confirm a Spotted Sandpiper nest. It is locates on the shore of a drained
spring fed pond that has some really cool plants and topography. The pond
when it is full covers 4 acres but now covers about one acre. The nest is in
between 3 tufts of grass and contains 4 eggs one parent has been seen. It is
located on private land. I have been told it is the first record for Lincoln
County can someone verify this?
Go out and find a bird!!!
