[TN-Bird] Late Bobolink
- From: tnbarredowl@xxxxxxx

TVA Biologist Hill Henry reported to me that he and his assistant had found a
male Bobolink in a field in the Savannah Bottoms (Hardin County) yesterday,
June 6. This would be the first local summer record to my knowledge. I have
seen them in the southern middle Tennessee area in late May, but never in June.
They also found numerous Horned Lark, Dickcissels and Grasshopper Sparrows,
typical of the bottoms this time of year.
