I took a ride over to the Wood Thrush today (12:15) to pick up some Sun Flower
Seed and as I parked in front of the store I heard a sound I hadn't heard
before. As I looked around I saw tow birds in the parking lot a mother and her
fledgling. They looked like Killdeer but never having seen one before (other
then in field guides) I had to get conformation from the Wood Thrush. They
confirmed that they were indeed Killdeers. This was nice as this is a life bird
for me.
I must be learning as I made the ID before asking. LOL
