To All TN-Birders:

Our list had about 4 or 5 consecutive posts which failed to report either the 
county birds were seen in or county for which sites are mentioned.  We have 
failed to include people's last names.  We have used geographical areas that 
some birders would have no idea where they might be. 

TN-Birds Net has one of the best reputations in the country for running a 
friendly list that is user-friendly to birders.  We avoid insider information 
and personal chat.  We provide good information with good detail, even if it is 
about flatwater canoe or kayak trips  :-)
Let's get back to that when we report about birds.

By the way, just to make this a legitimate birding post that is legal:  there 
is 1 (one)  Northern Mockingbird  (Mimus polyglottos, NOMO, A.O.U.#7030) 
singing across the street from my home,  Bristol, Sullivan County, TN.  36° 33' 
54"N, 82° 11' 16"W.
