[TN-Bird] red headed woodpeckers

I see a red headed woodpecker at my feeder only a few times a year. I saw
something yesterday near "downtown" Thompsons Station I had not seen
previously-a blue heron being mobbed by a couple of smaller birds. Yesterday I
had a couple workers cutting up trees downed by the tornadoes & burning some of
the stuff (wish we had city pickup service!!) & I was pleasantly surprised when
one commented on the large number of birds he had observed while tending the
fire, which was fairly large. I had noticed how seemingly close the birds
actually would come to the fire. I figured they wouldn't come anywhere near,
with all the smoke.
