Well they are not ALL exactly in sync - but I did see small groups that were
all blinking together. As dusk fell their blinking looked much like
"ordinary" fireflies. Then they began to blink more "synchronous". A few
would start to blink at a distance - then like a "wave" they would begin
blinking closer and closer - then they all quit blinking - then it would
start again. It's hard to describe but really worth going to see.
