[TN-Bird] Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge, Knox Co

On Saturday evening, June 7, I visited Seven Islands Wildlife Refuge in
eastern Knox County, from 7:00 - 9:20 p.m.
I added one new bird to the park list: Willow Flycatcher. Here's the total
list (sorry it's late)
Great Blue Heron 3
Black-crowned Night-Heron 1 (not often seen here)
Canada Goose 1 (usually several more, but the river level was up very high)
Red-tailed Hawk 1
N Bobwhite 5
Killdeer 3
Mourning Dove 3
Yellow-billed Cuckoo 2
Chuck-will's-widow 1
Chimney Swift 1
Red-bellied Woodpecker 1

Willow Flycatcher 1

Purple Martin 1
Barn Swallow 20

Tree Sw 1
Blue Jay 4
Am Crow 1
Carolina Chickadee 1
Carolina Wren 5
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 3

Yellow-breasted Chat 5

Summer Tanager 2 males
Indigo Bunting 12

Blue Grosbeak 4

Brown-headed Cowbird 4

Am Goldfinch 3
several Indian Pinks (wildflower) were blooming along the bank of the road in
the park.
