Terry and anyone else interested,

The location of "Mud Lake" (this location has no name on the DeLorme) can be 
found by going to the "Topozone.com" website, and then by going to "Get A 
Map-Decimal Degrees" and entering the following coordinates: 36.2396 Lat. and 
-89.5231 Long. This corresponds to page 47 of the TN Atlas & Gazetteer. Mud 
Lake is a transient body of water that will eventually dry up, but right now 
it is a sizable body of water. It is just north of Hwy 79 on the "Tiptonville 
Obion Levee Rd". Unless you're lucky and the birds are sitting out in the 
open when you get there (which I haven't been yet) it may take some 
persistence to wait for them to fly up out of the flooded wheat where they 
stay a lot. They do seem to trade around a lot though. There are still a 
large number of ducks in the vicinity to go through, with the gorgeous 
Ruddies putting on quite a show at times.
