[TN-Bird] Yard Birding

Yesterday morning (5-15) as I opened my bed room window I was very surprised to
hear the very high pitched call of a Blackburnian Warbler. I went out side to
look for him, and I saw him way up in the top of a tree. A few minutes later a
found 2 males just above eye level 10 feet away from me giving me great views.
I decided it wouldn't hurt to walk along the creek line since I normally get
some warblers there. I heard another Blackburnian as well as a warbler that
sounded like a Chestnut-sided-Magnolia-Yellow Warbler mix. While I was looking
for the singing bird, I saw a female American Redstart and a female Magnolia
(giving me suspicions that maybe the singing birds was a Maggie). After about
30 mins of looking for the bird, I finally got a good enough look to ID it as a
male Magnolia. It's song consisted of about 5-10 syllables (the song never
sounded the same, greatly varied), sounding nothing like any other Magnolias
I've heard before. I was thinking the bird was a juvenile, but it looked like
an adult male.
This morning (5-16), there were 2 Spotted Sandpipers walking around my pond
making Yard Bird #141!
