A field trip to Cove Lake St. Park/Cross Mtn.has been planned for this  
Sunday, the 7th.We will meet at the Louis rest. parking lot next to Cove  Lake 
at 
8:30 am.Carpooling into the park will be useful.After the Park we  will 
continue on to Cross Mtn.for higher elevation birding.All birders  encouraged 
to 
attend what is usually a very productive trip.To get to Cove  Lake,take I-75 
north 
out of Knoxville to the Lafolette,Caryville exit,turn right  go about a 
mile,you will see the Cove Lake St. Park sign on the left. turn in  ,then 
immediately left into the Louis eatery,come up the driveway to the parking  lot 
.Please 
bring lunch if you plan to do the Cross Mtn.trip,also be  prepared for muddy
