Prior to this spring, I had never seen a tufted titmouse nest with more than
eight eggs.  Today I photographed a titmouse nest with ten eggs; a short
time later I received a report of a titmouse nest with nine eggs.  Has
anyone else observed a titmouse nest with more than eight eggs?
