[TN-Bird] Sharps Ridge, Knoxville, east Tenn

This morning (May 6) several birders visited Sharps Ridge park in Knoxville.
We started off to the song of a WILSON'S WARBLER, but never got good looks at
it.
Warblers were hard to see all morning, as the leaves obscured them and the
birds seemed to be moving slowly, so were hard to spot. We did have some
excellent highlights though.
PEREGRINE FALCON - 1 circled over us quite closely
BEWICK'S WREN - 2 This was quite a surprise, although one birder was certain
he had seen one there earlier in the week. His was near the parking area by
the house/fire tower. Today the two were seen by 2 people at the end of the
road - behind the tall trees directly in front as you get to the turnaround.
Walk down the grassy area and you should find a somewhat overgrown path. They
were seen in the thick vegetation there.
Bay-breasted, Blackpoll, Black-throated Green, Hooded, WILSON'S,
Chestnut-sided, Nashville, Yellow-rumped, Cape May, Kentucky Warblers, Am
Redstart, Ovenbird.
Plenty of Scarlet Tanagers still around.
Summer Tanager - 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks - at least 2 female fed at close range.
Saw my first Red-spotted Purple (butterfly) of the year.
