Some of the more "interesting" birds:

Pied-billed Grebe, 1
American Bittern, 1
Least Bittern, 0
Great Egret, May 2, 5
Green Heron, 5
Blue-winged Teal, 3, NEST WITH 12 EGGS
King Rail, 0
Virginia Rail, 10+, easily seen May 1,
  could not see May 2 (rain)
Sora, 5+
Solitary Sandpiper, 2
Common Snipe, 3
Lesser Yellowlegs, 7
Marsh & Sedge Wrens, could not find
  (did not completely explore appropriate area)
Palm Warbler, 5+
Yellow Warbler, 5
Northern Waterthrush, 2 (May 1)
Bobolink, 12 on May 1, 25+ on May 2
Orchard Oriole, 10+,
  males singing and dancing, 
  females ignoring them
