I've had a voraciously hungry field sparrow on my deck since Wednesday 
morning.  It was still there for me to enjoy watching while I had my lunch a 
little while ago.  All these storms have really brought numbers of birds to 
my bird smorgasbord, and they are all eating as if they think it's their last 
meals.
