[TN-Bird] Unusual place for a turkey...

I volunteer with a rescue dog group, and I had to interview a possible
adoptive family in the Old Hickory area. As I was coming home, I pulled up
to Lebanon Road on Big Horn Road. This is right behind the Cooker
Restaurant, in a highly residential area. I was stopped at a red light and
looked casually over to the right, a bank had recently been cleared of trees
and it was muddy. I did a double take and saw what looked like a Male
Turkey in full display. I had my binoculars and looked to confirm and sure
enough, there alone, sat an adult male turkey with tail feathers fully
fanned. He was totally still. With my binocs I saw a little movement to his
left and looked further, it was a Groundhog, busy chewing on some long dried
grass stems. The turkey appeared to be fanning for the ground hog. The light
changed, and as I put down my glasses I glanced around and in the
neighborhood full of houses, there were about 10 people on the back porch
about 30 feet away from the Turkey, apparently sitting out drinking tea...
or something and all of them intently watching the Turkey and the Ground
Hog!
Sunday afternoon entertainment!
